All services include data collection and treatment planning review and updates required for evidenced based ABA practices. There is special emphasis on verbal behavior. Additional services may include:

Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA): Functional Behavioral Assessments identify behavior(s) targeted for reduction and/or elimination. It is a process for collection data about behavior that is specifically defined. Problem behaviors typically serve a functional purpose. Therefore, the data is used to help determine why problem behaviors occur. The data will also help identify functionally appropriate ways to address the behaviors. Additionally, FBA data are used to develop replacement behaviors and a positive behavioral intervention plan (Behavioral Intervention Plan described below).
Skills Assessments: Skills assessment(s) may include, but not limited to, VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, ESDM, Functional Assessment Interview and observation, reinforcer inventory, social skills inventory, aversion inventories, and other developmental checklists. Assessments are used to guide program development and are not diagnostic tools.
Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP): A Behavioral Intervention Plan takes observations made in an FBA and develops a clear positive behavioral intervention plan to assist natural and paid supports with a plan for managing problem behavior(s). Positive behavioral interventions are often strategically used before problem behaviors occur. To develop positive interventions, the team must understand why a child has problem behaviors and what strategies might be helpful.
School Consultation: School consultation can include shadowing services, IEP collaboration, and academic assistance. In addition to staff availability, these services are subject to insurance authorization and policies. Nonetheless, school consultation helps to facilitate skill acquisition and the reduction of problem behavior(s).
